How to Determine If Your Child Needs Therapy

Are there references to ‘what’ and ‘how’ to observe for indicators that the child may require further specialist referral for psychological intervention from their emerging small world play which may suggest the presence of clinical psychopathology.


As I had chose on "‘what’ and ‘how’ to observe for indicators that the child may require further specialist referral". I tried to find out more information on it. I find that this link information is useful for me on "how" as I only need to summarise it.

    Hi SeokBinn,
    we at BOLD use the SDQ format where the parent will filled and for the child to fill the sdq format if he is 10+ years old. The score results will determine whether the child needs play therapy....
    *Strength Difficulties questionairs -SDQ.
